The Northwest Center for Psychoanalysis – Portland (NCP-P) is an independent, nonprofit psychoanalytic institute and professional community that provides formal psychoanalytic training as well as psychodynamic and psychoanalytic education and training to mental health professionals, students, and the community at large.
NCP-P values relational concepts in developing an in-depth understanding and treatment of the individual in order to enhance the emotional well-being, relationships, quality of life and creativity of those with whom we work.
In its programs, NCP-P endeavors to foster values of self-awareness, self-respect, respect for others and diversity, as well as to promote accessibility of quality mental health training and services in the community.
